Silk Care
Our silk bedding is made from natural materials, therefore they need special care and a natural way to treat them. Detergent can contaminate them with chemicals. Always wash your linen in warm, not hot water setting machine washes at 30°C or on a silk setting. Hanging your linen on a washing line is preferable to machine drying. If necessary please tumble dry on a cool setting.Try to iron your linen when slightly damp and use a cool setting. Your linen should be ironed on the inside at all times.
As you should always protect your duvet with a removable and washable cover, your Lilysilk filled duvet does not really need a thorough cleaning. Neither does the topper. If they need a thorough cleaning they should be professionally laundered. You can spot clean them with very gentle soap. Rinse the spot where you have cleaned with luke warm water thoroughly and leave to air dry.
Tip: When you get up in the morning, don't make the bed straight away, turn your duvet over towards the end of the bed instead, let the fresh air or sunshine in (if your bed is near a window), for 10-20 minutes.

SILK PILLOWS
100% silk filled pillow: Spot clean only. We suggest using 2 pillowcases for an extra protection. Airing the pillow can keep it fresh and soft.
50% silk, 50% polyester: This type of pillow can be machine washed in low temperature setting once a year.
SILK NIGHTWEAR
We recommend that pure silk nightwear be dry-cleaned. Dry cleaning of finest quality of silk extends its life and protects its natural beauty, although our silk can also be washed by hand or washing machine in water at a temperature not exceeding 30°C with mild/neutral non- biological detergent. Never use bleach and fabric softener.
